Tips for trips

I'll try to put random things to help you with travel, but if you have questions please reach out.

Let us begin our discussion with cruises.

Nassau

Many Bahamian cruises include a stop in Nassau as a port of call, although I must confess that I am not particularly fond of it. I have experienced Blue Lagoon, which was satisfactory on the initial visit but became unpleasant and overly crowded during my second visit five years later. While it is possible to access a beach from the port, similar to beaches in the United States, you may encounter limited access to restrooms and changing facilities. A more affordable and cleaner option would be to purchase a day pass to a resort. For Nassau, I would suggest Margaritaville, as it is within walking distance from the ship, but utilizing a resort for the day is a viable option in numerous ports, including those in the United States.
